If a property is newly built or has had a complete re wire

Legal Requirements
The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector Regulations 2020 Mandate that landlords ensure their rental properties have a valid EICR
A copy of an EICR must be supplied to tenants at the start of the tenancy or within 28 days of the inspection
If a local authority were to request a copy of an EICR this must be provided within 7 days of a written request
